This 4 ¼” Ebonite reel, a tribute to the style of the Edward Vom Hofe Tobique, is a gear and pawl design that weighs from 18 to 24 oz, and is ideal for 15 to 17 foot spey rods. This reel is made with hard rubber side plates and can be configured as a multiplier 2x or a direct drive 1-1 with a 2-way check, it incorporates a button that acts as a dynamic drag that can be used to slow a hard-running fish down. Nickel silver is used on the rims, comma pillars, reelfoot, s-handle, counterbalance and rear mounted badge. A 3 ½ nickel silver reelfoot is available for an additional charge.
