This 4” Griswold EVH Tribute reel is done in the style of the off center multiplying reels Edward Vom Hofe Griswold made for 3 short years. The Griswold predated the EVH design of multiplying reel done on the center line, specifically the EVH Tobique series. I found the look so compelling I had to make a similar reel that incorporates a click and pawl with and exposed spinning backplate instead of a drag. The center medallion is an engraved steelhead rather than a coin as shown (contact me for custom options). The reel can be ordered as a 2x multiplier or direct drive, 1-way outgoing check (silent windup) or a 2-way check and single handle with a counterbalance. The faceplate is black, spool is silver and cage is available in silver or black and the handle colors are black, Ivorine/Ivory, or wood composite (handles are either straight or flared). Brass accents (reelfoot and counterbalance), full brass (reelfoot, counterbalance, and pillars) or 3.5” reelfoot are available for an additional charge. Case included.
